Bronwyn Dos Santos Picks Up A New Ride

Top-level showjumper and the mastermind behind the show series, Kawena Rider Series, Bronwyn Dos Santos, has picked up 2 new riders. Alongside her purchase of Capital Cole (Capital Chicoletto Z x Capital Colnardo) from the recent Capital Stud auction, she was seen sporting a new partnership at the recent training show hosted by Kyalami Equestrian Park.

Voigtskirch Sahara is a 9-year-old Namibian warmblood mare sired by Consuelo, who needs no introduction in the South African breeding industry having sired top-level horses including Nicola Sime-Riley’s Fulvic Connoisseur, out of a Gluekscup mare. This wonderful mare has been produced and competed by Kirsten Winn-Smith up to the 1.30m grades and has now been purchased by Bronwyn.

Bronwyn also needs no introduction as a showjumper at the highest grades in our sport has been active in the 1.50m levels for many years on her now-retired thoroughbred mare, Fountain of Love. Bronwyn’s steady string of impeccable horses includes Capital Levubu, currently competing in the 1.40m classes, and Bibisi (also active in the 1.40m) who are both set to take on the 1.50m heights in the future. Bronwyn and Sahara were seen competing at their debut show in the 1.30m classes after which she later said “Thank you for this cracker,” she continued by adding that Sahara has been “beautifully produced by Kirsten.”

An exciting new addition to Bronwyn’s already magnificent string of horses, we wish her many clear rounds and plenty of ribbons and this new partnership grows.
