Cieli Equestrian Brand Ambassador, Tamara Rueda

Following her exciting journey over the last few months with the return of her 1.50m horse, JK Quantas 18, at the end of 2020 and the introduction of her new stallion, Just on Time Z, in the early weeks of 2021, Tamara Rueda has been an exciting athlete to follow. So it comes as no surprise that she has now acquired a new sponsor; Cieli Equestrian.

Cieli Equestrian launched its brand into the South African market on the 20th of February 2020 and have already received immense support from the local equestrian industry. With elegant design a staple of its product range, the Cieli products appear to have a very sporty and active vibe which is the perfect association for the equestrian industry. While the new brand does not yet have a stationary home-base, they have already created a pop-up shop that has made an appearance at Shongweni. The brand has also made its products available to equestrians at several competitions across the country including the Puresan Stokkiesdraai Cup and the ongoing President’s Cup at Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm.

Tamara needs no introduction either as a top-level competitor that made her 1.50m debut with the gorgeous grey mare, JK Quantas 18. She also sports a string of great horses including JK Callaho Liantos whose quirky nature and elastic movements have seen the pair claim some incredible victories with memorable rounds. This President’s Cup witnessed the debut event for Tamara and Liantos in their first 1.40m competition together and, Tamara not being happy with the step up on its own, ensured that they proceeded to win the competition. A fantastic way for a partnership to step up a grade and ensure confidence in future rounds together at new heights.

The competitive attitude possessed by Tamara and the quality of horses in her stable are the perfect attributes to entice new sponsors on board and the partnership with Cieli Equestrian is guaranteed to see great success for both parties in the future.
