Gail Foxcroft Returns to the Competition Ring

In addition to all the titles being won, the 2020 Erreplus President’s Cup had another treat in store for us as fan-favourite and top athlete, Gail Foxcroft, made her return to competition.

Gail Foxcroft, a top level showjumper and three-time SA Derby winner, owner of Equifox Veterinary Supplies, and mastermind behind the Young Horse Performance Series, has been sidelined for well over a year due to a spate of personal injuries, and prior to that, a layoff due to the injury of her beloved 1.50m horse Equifox JFK. Thankfully, with Gail’s expertise in the medical sector, JFK has made a full recovery and with his return to the ring over a year ago, all looked to be successful going forward. Unfortunately, Gail then sustained an arm injury which once again took her out of competition.

This last weekend, however, Gail made her return to the competitive circuit on her home-bred gelding, Equifox Casino in the 1.35m classes. She was thrilled to ba back in competition, posting to social media after her rounds to say, “Our first show back after over a year! What a champ this horse is.”
