Neriske Prinsloo Adds to Her Competitive String

Neriske Prinsloo, top South African rider and Protea colours holder, has added a new ride to her string of horses. In an announcement made on October 14th on Neriske’s facebook page, she broke news of a new ride in the form of Check Mate RLH, a stunning bay stallion by the incredible Chianti O/T Lowlands Z, co-owned by Neriske and Ryan Lee Harvey, out of the thoroughbred mare, Graceful Kelly.

The stallion started his riding career with Stephan Pelser of Summerbrook Equestrian Stud and Stables, a beautiful setup in Pretoria East, and now joins Neriske and her quality string of competitive horses at NP Sporthorses in Mpumalanga. Making the acquisition even more special, Neriske currently competes Check Mate’s sire, Chianti, proving her faith in his progeny.

Neriske Prinsloo is a well-known South African showjumper who also competed on the global platform for a period of time and has produced several  horses to the open grades including Equistro van de Mispelaere, now owned by Lorette Knowles-Taylor, Hokkato RLH, now owned by Charley-Ann Crockart and many others which still remain in her constantly successful string.

We wish Neriske and CK, as Check Mate RLH is affectionately called, many safe and successful rounds as they climb the ladder to the top.
