Rainer Korber’s Callaho Lansink Has A New Owner

Many in the showjumping community will be familiar with Countrylife Callaho Lansink (Lissabon/Pilot) – the elegant liver chestnut gelding, previously owned by Callaho Warmblood Stud, that Rainer Korber successfully competed up to the 1.40m classes. But news broke over the weekend that Lansink has now been sold on to a top-level junior athlete, Zandi Alcock.

Callaho Lansink has been with Rainer Korber since the very beginning when, at 3.5-years-old, he was sent to Korber Equestrian to start his competitive career. Over the course of their partnership, they became widely regarded as ‘the pair to beat’ as they claimed 10 Championship victories, 6 championship runner-ups, SASJ Top 1.35m horse in 2018 and 2019 and a staggering 19 wins and 22 2nd places in open classes.

Lansink, or Pretty Boy as he was fondly called, will now begin his new venture with Zandi Alcock. Zandi has been a winning Junior rider with her thoroughbred, Favour The Bold, and will now look to take on even greater heights with her new equine partner. With the announcement of the new acquisition, Zandi said: “Welcome to the family Callaho Lansink. I’m so grateful and so honoured to have this really special boy in my life.” She continued by thanking both her coach and the stud: “Thank you so much, Ray, Callaho Warmblood Stud and thank you to my parents, I’m truly the luckiest girl in the world.”

We wish you many safe and speedy rounds, Zandi, and look forward to seeing your partnership grow.
