White Waters Warmblood Stud’s Foundation Stallion Passes on

Losing our horses is one of the most difficult parts of being involved in the equestrian industry. The bonds we form and love we share is the reason most riders get started in the industry to begin with, and unfortunately for one of South Africa’s stud farms, White Waters Warmblood Stud, their foundation stallion has sadly passed on at the age of 21.

Located in Mpumalanga, the White Waters Warmblood stud acquired the gorgeous black beauty, Beachhaven On Track, to set their foundation as a stud farm. By Ondol V out of a Wunderbar mare, On Track has had a remarkable life as a competitive horse and breeding stallion and stamped his offspring with his great temperament, confirmation, bravery and work ethic. He also sired the current 1.50m horse, White Waters On Time who made his top-level debut at President’s Cup with rider Hanelize Kamffer in October 2020. As a competitive stallion, On Track was often seen competing in the 1.30m/1.35m classes, in his younger years, with Patrick Brown and then by Kraai Kamffer and Jessica Moreira. In his final remaining years, On Track served as a wonderful tutor to many up and coming competitive riders and was said to ‘mesmerize every student with his charismatic ride and super soft nature’

On Track has not only left behind a legacy of quality offspring but he remains in the hearts of all who had the chance to ride him and his owners at the White Waters Warmblood Stud. Our condolences to all his connections.
