Ivan van de Sijde is a young rider based out of Plettenberg Bay. Alongside his highly competitive showjumping career, Ivan is also involved with the Equine-Librium breeding programme that regularly sees top quality young horses being produced and sold on. He is regularly seen on the Gauteng showjumping circuit as well and often remains in Gauteng for a few weeks at a time to ensure his attendance at most of the major events. His current 1.50m partner, Rivervale’s Best Wishes, has been self-produced and is now settling well into the top levels of the sport.
