Liam Stevens is a young showjumper that started his equestrian career in Cape Town but has since moved up to Gauteng where he has established his home base, Disa Stables, in Glenferness. Liam had a prolific Junior rider on his stellar mare, Wanda, who helped Liam transition into the adult category and into the 1.50m ranks. Since the mare’s retirement in 2018, Liam has been competitive on a slew of talented horses including Guillaume, who recently made his debut in the 1.50m ranks at the Outdoor Grand Prix in 2020.

Alongside the support from his influential father, Damian Stevens, who is still currently based in the Western Cape, Liam has also benefited from the long-time tuition of Barry Taylor of Farnham Stables with whom he was a part of Team Nissan before Nissan withdrew from the showjumping industry.
