Originating from KwaZulu-Natal, now Gauteng-based rider, Cathryn Neill, has been a long-standing competitor at the top levels of showjumping alongside her husband, Shaun Neill. Her most recent top-level partner, the recently-retired Clyde Z, has been a fantastic partner for Cathryn, enabling her to re-enter the top grades and claim victory at the 2018 South African Championships at Sunera in Plettenberg Bay. Prior to this, Cathryn had years of experience working with young horses at Farnham Stables, assisting long-time coach, Barry Taylor, for several years. Cathryn has since remained competitive on some young horses while she continues her search for her next “Clyde Z”.
