Colin Ferreira, aka Chookie, is a KwaZulu-Natal-based rider that has been active in the 1.50m levels during 2020 after a long hiatus from the top heights. On a borrowed horse, Kuda Insurance Capital Don Costello, owned by Ian van Schalkwyk, Colin reclaimed his status in the 1.50m ranks. Alongside his riding career, Chookie is an avid horseman, and an FEI 1* course designer. Despite his unorthodox style, his great eye for a stride and his highly competitive nature make him an exciting athlete to watch at these levels.
