Marlene Sinclair is an American showjumper and professional equestrian based in South Africa at the Silhouette Park Stables owned by Tamzyn Wegrostek, but originally hailing from New York. Marlene has had an on-off career in the sport, with a 20-year stint out of the sport involved with social services in Tanzania, before retaking to the saddle after moving to South Africa. She nurtured her love for horses and the sport under the guidance of American Olympic athlete, Norman Dello Joio.

After the unfortunate, forced retirement of her 1.50m horse, Camaro, on whom she qualified for the 2020 FEI World Cup Finals in Las Vegas, Marlene has been on a brief hiatus until recently when she purchased Oxer van de Boortoren with whom Marlene has been active in the competition arena again.
